Our Program Director

A. Stapha Stevens, hailing from Harlem, is the Program Director of Men Elevate Now, a transformative mentoring program serving the inner-city youth of NYC. As someone who grew up in the heart of Harlem without the presence of a father, A. Stapha understands the void and anguish that countless young people grapple with daily. While navigating a path riddled with challenges, Mr. Stevens found a profound calling to uplift those treading a similar route. This calling materialized into Men Elevate Now, a testament to his unwavering dedication to guiding young individuals away from the shadows of poverty and inner-city adversities. Witnessing young men transcend the perils of street life brings him immeasurable joy as he illuminates the road to fulfillment, contentment, and triumph. Presently, he fulfills the role of a Human Resources Manager at New York City's Health and Hospital Corporation, concurrently with his youth mentoring commitments. Beyond his mentoring pursuits and professional responsibilities, A. Stapha indulges his passion for fitness training and holds the position of Co-owner at Juiced Harlem, a juice bar nestled within the heart of Harlem, New York. Mentoring young men is the initial seed of his expansive mission to invoke change. After graduating from Rice High School, Stapha pursued and accomplished a bachelor's and master's degree at the esteemed State University of New York at Albany.
